Linda Lewis (born Linda Ann Fredericks, 27 September 1950 – 3 May 2023) was an English singer, songwriter and musician. Best known for hits "Rock-a-Doodle-Doo" (1973) and "The Shoop Shoop Song" (1975), she released acclaimed albums including "Lark" (1972) and "Not a Little Girl Anymore" (1975). Lewis also provided backing vocals for David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Rod Stewart, and Jamiroquai. Her music blended folk, funk and soul influences.
