Omar & The Howlers is a Texas based electric blues and blues rock band. Fronted by Kent "Omar" Dykes, the original Howlers was formed in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1973 and later relocated to Austin, Texas. Known for raw, rowdy, rambunctious blues, the band has released numerous albums over a career spanning five decades.
