Chairmen of the Board are an American soul music group from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 1967. They were one of the first acts signed by legendary producers Holland-Dozier-Holland after they left Motown to establish Invictus/Hot Wax labels. The group achieved million-selling success with hits like "Give Me Just a Little More Time," "Pay to the Piper," "(You've Got Me) Dangling on a String," "Everything's Tuesday," and "Finder's Keepers." Led by General Norman Johnson until his death in 2010, the group continues to perform and is members of the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame.
