Как и было обещано, Джефф Кейли во время прямого эфира объявил всех номинантов The Game Awards 2020. В этом году на шоу будут представлены 30 разных категорий, для каждой из которых были отобраны свои претенденты. Главными претендентами всей церемонии стали эксклюзивы PlayStation: The Last of Us: Part II, Ghost of Tsushima и Final Fantasy VII Remake, у которых большое

количество номинаций. Также отличился инди-проект от Supergiant Games — Hades, на его счету 8 номинаций.
